After completing a master's program at graduate school, he joined Toto Ltd. (formerly TOTO, Inc.). During his 12 years there, he was engaged in the design and development of water-related products such as unit baths, washbasins, and electric water heaters. He has experience in various design-related tasks, from product planning to 3D CAD, CAE, product evaluation, and design department reform.
