Myth busters.jpg

Rupture disks that overcome common challenges in the industry.

Attention engineers and production managers in the oil, gas, chemical, and petrochemical fields! *White paper available for distribution.

Our company is a manufacturer of explosion protection and pressure relief products headquartered in Germany. Engineers in the oil, gas, chemical, and petrochemical sectors have relied on rupture discs for many years to quickly and reliably relieve unwanted and excessive pressure or vacuum within production processes. However, the early rupture discs were very simple, consisting of a flat metal piece installed between flanges that was weakened at a predetermined point using a mechanical scoring method (grooving) to open. Advancements in technology and design have dramatically improved quality and reliability, eliminating long-standing concerns such as pinholes, leaks, premature failures, and frequent replacements. *We are also offering a white paper in addition to our product catalog. The white paper discusses the challenges faced with rupture discs in the past and the current rupture discs that have resolved those issues. [Past Challenges] - Frequent leaks - Many premature failures (ruptures) - Need for frequent replacements

ETX00.jpg

Explosion-proof | Explosion Vent ETX Type

Automatic reclosing and reusable explosion-proof door

▶ Purpose In the drying process of the food industry, explosive atmospheres often occur. Due to the high likelihood of embers and hot surfaces, the preparation of explosion-proof devices is essential. The ring-type dryer has a functionally elongated design, so if the pressure relief device remains open after an explosion, the so-called chimney effect can exacerbate post-explosion fires. REMBE's explosion-proof door model ETX automatically closes after the explosion pressure is released, preventing post-explosion fires, that is, stopping the inflow of oxygen into the device. The ETX model remains undamaged after pressure relief and is reusable. ▶ Benefits of Use ▸ Prevention of post-explosion fires due to chimney effect ▸ Automatic re-closing ▸ Reusable ▸ High discharge efficiency ▸ Heat tracing for snow melting and freeze prevention (optional)

[Seminar] Design and Operation of Civil Liability and Governance in AI Development and Use

  • NEW
  • SEMINAR_EVENT

[Instructor] Yuichiro Kabushiki, Partner Lawyer at TMI Comprehensive Law Office [Key Lecture Content] With the spread of AI, there is growing attention on the civil liability of developers, providers, and users of AI. The Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry will publish "Guidelines on the Interpretation and Application of Civil Liability in AI Utilization" in April 2026, and the Ministry of Justice will also establish an expert meeting to examine civil liability related to unauthorized use of images and voices generated by AI in the same month. As the full enforcement of the AI Promotion Act and the revision of AI guidelines are underway, it is necessary to design and operate governance based on the potential responsibilities that may arise retrospectively. In this seminar, based on the guidelines from the Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry and drawing on litigation practice experience as a judge and lawyer, we will organize the basic framework for assessing civil liability and explain fundamental methods for designing and operating governance based on risk analysis. Furthermore, we will examine the framework for civil liability and the design and operation of governance using hypothetical cases that are likely to pose practical issues.
