▶ Mechanism The ETX type explosion-proof door is based on the principle of air cushioning. During an explosion, the hinged lid opens very quickly and is secured by an integrated baffle plate. The built-in air cushion suppresses the transmission of kinetic energy to the rigid part of the ETX type, ensuring that after the release of explosion pressure, the lid of the ETX type closes again in its normal position. ▶ Use in Drying Plants ▸ Ring Type Dryer By installing the ETX type on an eccentric hood or ring duct, optimal and safe pressure release is achieved. ▸ Cyclone (Multistage) The explosion vent for the inertial force separation device is most effectively installed directly above the immersion tube. ▸ Dust Collector (Bag Filter) In the case of bag filters, special care must be taken to ensure that the vent is positioned below the filter layer. This prevents the filter layer from blocking the vent.
