Contec develops the FA computer VPC series as information terminals and HPC (High-Performance Computing) environments for machine learning frameworks and AI inference execution, supporting the stable operation of factory equipment and social infrastructure. It has often adopted "CentOS," known for its stability, as the operating system. Contec and Cybertrust have developed a model pre-installed with "MIRACLE LINUX," a domestic Linux OS that is a RHEL clone developed by Cybertrust, aiming to provide an environment that can be used equivalently to CentOS for companies that have previously adopted CentOS for industrial PCs. The model being offered now is equipped with "MIRACLE LINUX 8," which can be used as a successor to CentOS in the VPC series compatible with Intel® Xeon® processors, applicable in fields requiring advanced multiprocessing such as HPC, transportation, social infrastructure, medical devices, security, and amusement, thus becoming a platform where Linux operates stably.
