2022 International Welding Show

Japan ESI will showcase welding simulation at the 2022 International Welding Show, held from July 13 (Wednesday) to 16 (Saturday), 2022. ESI's welding simulation provides solutions tailored to challenges in welding by categorizing them into deformation and quality issues. For the "welding deformation" problem, Visual Assembly allows for easy analysis even with large-scale models. It enables the analysis of changes in the sequence of spot welding and clamp positions, facilitating the consideration of welding plans with minimal deformation before the prototype stage. For the "welding quality" problem, SYSWELD accurately solves the behavior of metal materials due to heat. It can faithfully reproduce phenomena occurring during the welding process, such as the movement of the welding heat source, expansion and contraction due to temperature history during heating and cooling, and phase transformations. Furthermore, it is possible to consistently carry over the analysis results from the manufacturing process of press forming to welding, and even simulate product fatigue durability performance.
On July 14 (Thursday), we will hold a lecture titled "Reducing Prototype Costs through Welding Assembly Simulation." We sincerely look forward to your participation.
