Announcement of a free webinar: A highly popular seminar where sales engineers share their on-site experiences, "What is the key to visualizing manufacturing processes?!" (7/27)

Kistler Japan G.K. Kistler Japan G.K. Head office
How to connect the visualization of manufacturing processes to solutions such as quality improvement and defect reduction, finding clues for improvement from collected data, and the factors that hinder success at the stage of utilizing improvements, as well as methods for effective data utilization that remove these hindrances in the shortest time possible. Our sales engineers, who have consulted with many manufacturing sites, will introduce the key points of utilizing in-process load measurement data based on their experiences, while unraveling a case study of pin insertion (terminal pressing), one of the assembly processes for electronic devices. This webinar will be held three times on the following dates, but the content will be the same for all sessions, so please feel free to join on a date that suits you! July 27, 2022 (Wednesday) August 3, 2022 (Wednesday) August 10, 2022 (Wednesday) Please check the details and apply using the button below [Details & Application] (this will jump to our registration form). If you would like, please also watch the reference video! "Visualization of In-Process Measurement - Case Study of Pressing Process -" https://youtu.be/RTsC86GKrCU We look forward to many participants joining us.

[Seminar] The Current State of Autonomous Driving Technology and Challenges in Social Implementation

  • NEW
  • SEMINAR_EVENT

[Speaker] Mr. Takumi Aida, Analyst, Advanced Technology Lab, Japan Research Institute, Ltd. [Key Lecture Content] Autonomous driving technology has developed primarily around the enhancement of vehicle control based on a rule-based approach using various sensing data such as cameras, radar, and LiDAR. In recent years, there has also been progress in End-to-End approaches where AI learns integratively from recognition to control. While commercial applications of unmanned taxis and autonomous trucks are advancing mainly in the United States and China, efforts in Japan remain at the demonstration stage. Moreover, the spread of autonomous driving is changing the form of mobility provision from "ownership" to "service utilization," which is also impacting the nature of financial services. With the expansion of business models based on operational data and utilization rates, the forms of involvement of financial institutions are expected to diversify. This lecture will organize an overview of autonomous driving technology and its latest trends, and, based on domestic and international use cases, will consider the challenges for social implementation and strategies for promoting utilization, including the nature of financial services.
