A very uniform magnetic field within a few ppm is required for MRI and similar technologies. NMR is the only magnetic measurement technology that can provide a magnetic field map with that level of precision. The conventional MFC3045 was a groundbreaking product that reduced the time required for magnetic field mapping from several hours to a few minutes, with a positioning error of less than 1mm, keeping human error and drift error at a negligible level.
