Medical Device Electrical Safety Standard Automatic Inspection System Model 8910

The safety standards for medical devices that physicians and patients directly interact with are stricter compared to others. In addition to the basic AC withstand voltage, DC withstand voltage, insulation resistance, and grounding resistance, the most important test in the safety standards for medical devices is the leakage current test, which includes four different types of tests: ELC, ECLC, PLC, and PALC. Additionally, due to the inclusion of power switching and grounding switching during normal, reverse, single fault normal, and single fault reverse conditions, the testing items become difficult and complex. Therefore, Chroma has combined a dedicated electrical safety test scanner with the 8910, providing an automatic inspection system that adopts different modules according to the testing items. The software of the 8910 can perform tests in accordance with the requirements of the medical testing process and allows for the recording and storage of measurement results. Furthermore, it is also possible to freely edit the testing process according to customer needs.
