For hydraulic and pneumatic equipment
The X-ring is composed of four lips with an X-shaped cross-section and can be used and handled almost the same as an O-ring. When there are issues with O-rings, using an X-ring significantly enhances the sealing effect. Please feel free to inquire about special sizes, custom dimensions, and non-standard options. We have over 3,000 types of molds, allowing us to offer low prices and short delivery times.

basic information
**Features** ○ No possibility of twisting When O-rings are used for reciprocating motion, they may twist within their groove, but X-rings do not have this concern due to their unique profile. ○ Low friction and long lifespan Because the radial compression is less than that of O-rings of the same size, the contact pressure is lower, resulting in reduced friction and superior durability. ○ Good sealing performance The contact pressure is evenly distributed across the entire cross-section, resulting in less leakage compared to O-rings. ○ No sealing defects due to flash Since the flash avoids the sealing lip area, it does not compromise the sealing performance. ○ Wide variety of materials Compatible with materials such as nitrile rubber (NBR), ethylene propylene rubber (EPDM), chloroprene rubber (CR), fluororubber (FKM), silicone rubber (VMQ), and fluorosilicone rubber (FVMQ). ○ Wide range of sizes Available in a wide range of sizes in accordance with US Standard AS568. ● For more details, please contact us or refer to the catalog.

Applications/Examples of results
【Usage】 X-rings can be used as seals for both dynamic and static applications. They can be used for both inner diameter and outer diameter seals. ○ Dynamic seals For pistons, rods, plungers, etc., that undergo reciprocating motion. For shafts, spindles, etc., that undergo oscillating, rotating, and helical motion. ○ Static seals For radial and axial seals in bushings, flanges, covers, etc.
