The SI-20US is an interface converter that transforms a computer's USB port into an RS-422 port capable of long-distance transmission over 1.2 km with strong noise resistance. The RS-422 side features a terminal block design for easy wiring. It can convert a total of four signals: transmission data, reception data, and two control signals, allowing for flow control using RTS and CTS of a virtual COM port. The GND on the RS-422 port side is electrically insulated with high voltage resistance from the GND on the computer side with the USB port. With a wide operating temperature range and a noise-resistant metal casing, it is ideal for factory equipment and inspection systems that require high reliability.
