Reduction of sludge volume and reduction of transaction volume are possible!
The backwash-type Yuasa is a backwash immersion membrane separation device that can efficiently perform filtration, sludge recovery, and sludge concentration. It filters the concentrated liquid in the immersion tank by suction, causing sludge to adhere to the membrane surface. After a certain period, the membrane module rises and backwashes to detach the sludge from the membrane surface. It enables sludge volume reduction and the recovery of chemical-free sludge.

basic information
**Features** ● No SS (suspended solids) leakage in the filtered water → Due to the nominal pore size of 0.25μm, the SS in the treated water is below 1mg/L. ● High concentration of sludge inside the immersion tank is possible → Reduction of discharged sludge volume and decrease in transaction volume. ● Sludge recovery without the addition of coagulants → Since it is non-chemical sludge, it is also easy to consider the recovery of valuable materials. ◎ You can view details such as specifications by downloading the catalog. Company information
Yuasa Corporation has had a long-standing relationship with microporous membranes that allow ions to pass through battery separators for nearly 80 years. From the research and development nurtured during this long history, the innovative microporous membrane "Yumikuron" was born, and as an application of this technology, we have been the earliest in Japan to engage in precision filtration filters. Yuasa precision filters possess high quality and stable performance, enabling large-scale precision filtration suitable for industrial processes, and they have features not found in conventional cellulose-based membrane filters. The precision filtration filters include various types such as the "Yumikuron" filter, "Yumikurin" immersion-type flat membrane modules, and "Holostar" hollow fiber filters, which are utilized in various fields including food, electronics, medical, pharmaceuticals, chemical industry, and nuclear power.
