The Jordan 708 series is a compact control valve designed specifically for low flow rates. It has 19 Cv ranges from 0.00001 to 4.0, and is available in three connection sizes: 1/4”, 1/2”, and 3/4”. With a maximum pressure of 34.5 MPa and a maximum temperature of 482°C, it can accommodate a wide range of applications despite its small size. The wetted parts are made from various materials, including 316SS, allowing us to meet customer requirements. Features: • Rolling diaphragm - The rolling diaphragm design maintains a relatively constant effective area of the diaphragm regardless of the valve stem position. • Spring-loaded TFE/Chevron packing - The spring-loaded packing maintains moderate compression without causing excessive friction. • Bolt-connected body/bonnet - The bolted construction provides a robust structure for secure connections. • Guided trim - The extended orifice/plug guide improves shut-off capability and accuracy as standard (not available for Cv values below 0.05).

As a structural feature of the 708 series, the free-floating plug moves to always position itself at the center of the seat orifice, resulting in improved control and shut-off capability. The seat is modular, making it easy to replace, and does not require any special fitting work during replacement. Additionally, the valve body is bolted to the bonnet, allowing for disassembly without removing the valve body from the piping, making seat replacement extremely easy. This seat replacement does not require any special tools, only a socket wrench is used.
