DSI (Die Slide Injection Molding) is an injection molding method developed by Japan Steel Works, which allows for the rapid and accurate molding of complex hollow structures. In the first injection, semi-finished products (two-part items) are molded, and the mold is slid using a hydraulic mechanism to form the hollow body, followed by melting and bonding in the second injection. DSI resolves issues such as uneven wall thickness and weak bonding strength that were seen in conventional hollow molding methods. 【Features】 - Capable of assembly molding and sealing molding with complex hollow bodies and insert parts. - Eliminates the need for post-processing, contributing to reduced molding costs and increased productivity. - Bonding strength is approximately 1.5 to 2.0 times that of vibration welding. - Can accommodate three-dimensional uneven shapes on the bonding surface. - Easy control of wall thickness (1.5 to 5.0 mm) with high dimensional accuracy.
