Regarding the rotating logo display, since displaying it in MPEG video format requires licensing fees, we proposed a method of display using "flipbook animation" that shows multiple images at ultra-high speed. In fact, the device incorporating this display has been commercialized and mass-produced. The above custom request led to the implementation of the "petit accelerator function," which enables ultra-high-speed rendering without the need for a host CPU, in our products. Since the customer was related to medical devices, it matched perfectly with our concept of "LCD controllers for small lots and long-term production," and they also appreciated the aspect that "even if the LCD or LCDC main unit is discontinued, the software assets are 100% protected, which provides great peace of mind." Additionally, they valued our responsiveness to custom requests, and we are currently supplying our LCD controllers to multiple devices.
