The space used when opening and closing is only half of a single door, making this convenient outward-folding flush door WDR40 capable of utilizing approximately four times the space compared to a typical double door of the same size. In the case of large swinging doors, the large turning radius can become a disadvantage when opening the door. In rooms that face corridors with a relatively high frequency of opening and closing, especially where people or objects frequently pass through, dead space is created each time the door is opened or closed, making it difficult to use the space effectively. This is where the WDR40 outward-folding flush door comes in to solve such problems. The space used during opening and closing is only half of a single door, allowing for approximately four times more effective use of space compared to a typical double door of the same size. When the door is open, both doors can be secured, and by using a handle pocket on the wall side, the door can be stored compactly. *Note 1: When installing on a steel frame, a handle pocket may not be necessary. *Note: When installing on an insulated panel system, it is recommended to install reinforcements such as a steel frame for the base.
