The "Simple Support Strength Measuring Device Caspol" is a tripod-type measuring instrument that can evaluate the support strength characteristics of the ground in real-time. It features simple and easy operation, minimizing individual errors, and does not require reaction force, making it applicable in narrow spaces and mountainous areas. The measurement principle involves dropping a rammer equipped with an accelerometer onto the ground, and calculating the strength constants necessary for support strength calculations of foundations and structures from the maximum impact acceleration obtained from the collision. The Caspole utilizes the correlation between the "impact acceleration (Ia value)" obtained when a rammer with a built-in accelerometer strikes the ground and the ground constants, making it capable of measuring CBR, cohesion (c), internal friction angle (φ), cone index (qc), and the ground reaction coefficient (K30) obtained from plate load tests on roads.

Calculation of Allowable Support Strength Using the values of "φ" and "c" that can be measured with Caspfol, along with the "Ultimate Bearing Capacity Calculation Formula" from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism Notification No. 1113 and the Building Foundation Structural Design Guidelines, you can calculate the bearing capacity of the ground.
