By making cuts both vertically and horizontally, a grid-like cross-cut is created in the center. Adhesive tape is then applied and quickly pulled off. The state of the coating that has been removed by the tape is classified while comparing it to the examples of test results classified from 0 to 5 according to JIS standards (JIS-K5600).
