A cross-cut plate that allows for easy evaluation of the adhesion and bonding strength of coatings and films.
This is a jig used for cross-cut tests and grid tests conducted to evaluate the adhesion and bonding strength of coatings. It is a plate that serves as a guide for making evenly spaced cuts in the coating. There are three types available: 1mm, 2mm, and 1.5/3mm. Its size and thickness are just right, making it easy to make cuts and very user-friendly. It allows for low-cost coating quality management.

basic information
It is used to evaluate the adhesion and cohesion of coatings and films. A cutter knife is used to make cuts along the plate. By making cuts vertically and horizontally, a grid-like cross-cut is created in the center. Adhesive tape is then applied and instantly pulled off. The state of the coating that has been removed by the tape is classified by comparing it with the examples of test results classified from 0 to 5 in the JIS standard (JIS-K5600).
