Control of a wide frequency range with precise material settings [Vibration-damping rubber]
Yamauchi's vibration-damping rubber effectively suppresses vibrations in optical disc drives, significantly reducing data errors and sound skipping. Yamauchi utilizes a wide range of material variations, years of accumulated vibration-damping theory, and the latest analytical simulations to design optimal vibration-damping rubber (dampers, insulators), providing full support to customers from design to manufacturing and inspection. We contribute to your high-quality product creation. 【Features】 - Tunable with a diverse range of hardness variations in 5-degree increments - Dynamic viscoelasticity graded over a wide range of 0.1 to 0.8 m → Excellent compression strain characteristics due to thermosetting rubber, achieving high reliability → Outstanding weather resistance, with no ozone cracking under conditions of 40°C/50pphm for 72 hours → Environmentally friendly and compliant with RoHS directives → Capable of accommodating complex shapes ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.

basic information
【Technology】 1. Transition of Common Points When you want to avoid resonance in a specific frequency band, you can address this by changing the hardness of the rubber. With a wide range of hardness from 3 to 60 (A) and finely tuned hardness settings in 5° increments, we possess the know-how to control these factors freely. 2. Reduction of Vibration Transmission Rate When you want to suppress resonance itself, you can address this by changing the dynamic viscoelasticity of the rubber. At Yamauchi, we grade materials over a wide range of dynamic viscoelasticity (tanδ) from 0.1 to 0.8. ● For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
