We are working on the development of a debris removal system utilizing knotless mesh technology.
Debris in orbit (space junk) poses not only the risk of colliding with and destroying operational satellites, but also the danger of scattering numerous small debris through collisions among debris themselves. There is a need for urgent measures to prevent the number of debris generated by collisions from increasing exponentially, making space unsafe and unusable. The "debris removal system" that eliminates used or malfunctioning satellites and rockets is a means to fundamentally solve the debris problem. Nitto Seimo is leveraging its knotless net technology and is working with JAXA to develop a debris removal system aimed at practical application. 【Features】 - Removal of used or malfunctioning satellites and rockets - Fundamental solution to the debris problem - Utilization of knotless net technology - Joint development of the debris removal system with JAXA For more details, please contact us or download the catalog.
