"Bulge forming" is a hollow forming process for metal pipes in which a pipe set in a mold is filled with ultra-high-pressure liquid while compressing both ends of the pipe axially, allowing it to be processed all at once into the shape engraved in the mold. It is also called hydroforming and involves plastic processing of pipes made from carbon steel, stainless steel (SUS), aluminum, copper, brass, and various alloys.
