Latest electrostatic induction FS micro spray gun
Electrostatic induction FS micro spray gun
Two methods of electrostatic micro-spray are prepared: one for forming thin film coatings using low viscosity materials, and the other for film formation using medium to high viscosity coating materials in the range of several tens of micrometers.
The electrostatic micro-spray for forming films with medium to high viscosity coating materials, which can create films several tens of microns thick, utilizes a screw extension and an air cap with a star-shaped design (patented) to finely atomize viscous materials into high microparticles. These particles are then charged in a corona charging area where electrostatic application occurs. Features: - Capable of thin film coating from 350 angstroms. - Reduction in the amount of coating liquid used. - Can coat three-dimensional complex shapes. - Good edge coverage.

basic information
One method that allows for film formation from the angstrom unit is the electrostatic spray method. In this method, a FS micro spray gun generates liquid micro-particles, and a high voltage of -5 to 30 kV is applied to the needle at the gun tip using a corona charging method. Simultaneously, corona discharge occurs from the tip of this needle (corona pin), creating an electric field between the coated object and the needle. The fine particles that pass through this electric field also become charged and adhere to the coated object. By layering the applied fine particles, a thin film can be uniformly formed. Fine particles cannot coat the substrate solely by their inertial force. The electrostatic spray method enables the extraction and transport of only the fine particles, which then adhere to the substrate through the application of electrostatic force. Coating using the force of electrons is said to provide good coverage due to the property of electric fields concentrating at the edges. Because of these characteristics, film formation can be achieved on complex-shaped substrates that cannot be coated using spin coating.

Factors Affecting Transfer Efficiency in Electrostatic Spray Coating In electrostatic spraying, transfer efficiency is an important concern. If the electrostatic mechanism is applied to the spray device but does not result in any change in efficiency compared to non-electrostatic coating, it becomes a problem. The diagram lists the factors that influence transfer efficiency in electrostatic spray application and illustrates the extent to which these factors affect efficiency. It is determined that electrostatic application heavily relies on components such as the spray gun and grounding.
