Not in batches, but plating one by one! This will greatly contribute to quality improvement.
The "single-piece plating device" is a plating system that processes all workpieces one by one in a continuous manner, rather than in batch processing. Workpieces are individually cut from the loader and secured in work holders attached to a steel belt. The continuously operating steel belt then transports them through each process for plating. After processing, each piece is discharged to the unloader one by one. In short, it resembles a ski lift. This method ensures that all workpieces follow the same path, minimizing quality variations between them. This also affects the film thickness, so when the plating involves precious metals and is costly, it can lead to significant cost reductions. basic information
Please imagine a ski resort lift. People get on and off a continuously moving lift. This device has jigs that receive workpieces arranged continuously under a continuously operating steel belt. The loader continuously feeds workpieces into the jigs on the belt. Then, various processes are applied, and necessary surface treatments are carried out. After processing, the workpieces are discharged by an unloader. Depending on the shape of the workpieces and where the plating is to be applied, the shape of the jigs is considered and proposed each time. This allows for a quality that cannot be achieved through batch processing.
