In July 2007, a slip-resistant treatment was applied using Slip Rate Sigma 01 to the grating covers of the connecting bridge from 3-chome to 4-chome in Ibukino, Izumi City, Osaka Prefecture. This is a new anti-slip method for grating covers. A mixture of slip rate Sigma 03 resin and aggregate is embedded between the ribs of the grating cover, finished to the surface height for anti-slip processing. As shown in the photo, natural stone aggregates (in three basic colors) can be used to create a design anti-slip grating cover that matches the landscape. In addition to anti-slip effects, it also helps prevent accidents caused by high heels getting stuck and prevents the inflow of fallen leaves and debris into the drainage ditches.
