Kansai Polymer Co., Ltd. performs fluororesin coating on metals and other materials. In the standard process, we carry out the following work steps. Additionally, we discuss with customers as necessary to establish special quality standards and manage the work process. 【Introduction to Work Steps】 ■ Can Body ・ Structural check (during drawing creation) ・ Base test upon completion of canning (welded parts and corners) ■ Degreasing (preheating: 400°C) ■ Blasting ・ Surface finish is white metal ■ Primer Application ・ Dispersion coating method ■ Primer Drying and Baking (appropriate temperature for resin) ■ Top Coat ・ Powder application: electrostatic coating method, rotary coating method, fluid immersion method ・ Dispersion coating method ■ Baking (appropriate temperature for resin) ・ In the case of thick films, the top coat and baking are repeated several times until completion ■ Inspection ・ Pinhole test ・ Thickness measurement through sampling Electromagnetic thickness gauge (if the substrate is magnetic) Eddy current thickness gauge (if the substrate is non-magnetic) ・ Visual inspection *For more details, please refer to the catalog or feel free to contact us.
