**Features of the Same Diameter and Same Thickness Bending Method** Traditionally, the only method for bending pipes of standard sizes was through bend bending. Bend bending requires a large bending radius, which inevitably leads to flattening and thinning at the bend area. When a compact piping layout is necessary, the size of the bending radius becomes a constraint. At Almitec, we use pipes that are the same size (outer diameter and wall thickness) as elbows, allowing us to bend them at the same radius as elbows while maintaining the same dimensions for diameter and wall thickness.
