The cross-cut test master is a manual device developed for quickly and accurately conducting cross-cut tests on a tabletop.
The attachment part is designed to set a rotary spare cutter, allowing for even cuts at once. Various spare cutters can be set, including 6 blades with 1mm, 2mm, and 3mm spacing (25-mesh test) and 11 blades with 1mm spacing (100-mesh test), enabling all tests with 1mm, 2mm, and 3mm spacing by replacing the cutter. This cross-cut tester is developed for quick, uniform, and error-free testing. The maximum size of the test piece that can be set is 200×200mm. The spare cutter has 6 blades (edges). By rotating the blade each time it wears out, you can cut with a new edge, reducing running costs. The cross-cut tester master body can be fixed to a desk or similar surface using screws for use.

basic information
Select a spare cutter for making incisions and attach it to the attachment part. Place the test specimen on the table of the main unit. Hold the front handle with the hand opposite your dominant hand, and slowly lower the multiple blades attached to the attachment, positioning them at the starting point of the incision on the test specimen. With your dominant hand, hold the rear handle and pull it towards you to cut the coating. Change the orientation of the test specimen and make incisions both vertically and horizontally to create a grid-like cross-cut in the center. Apply adhesive tape over it and quickly peel it off. Classify the test area by comparing the state of the coating that has been removed by the tape with the examples of test results classified from 0 to 5 according to JIS standards (JIS-K5600).
