The total cost, including inspection fees, report creation, and transportation expenses, is 120,000 yen (excluding tax). Recently, there have been incidents of labor accidents where the tops of FRP (fiber-reinforced plastic) hydrochloric acid tanks have been damaged, causing workers to fall during maintenance inspections and renovation work at various locations. FRP tanks, primarily used for storing corrosive liquids like hydrochloric acid, are excellent in corrosion resistance; however, prolonged exposure to corrosive gases (hydrogen chloride gas) and outdoor ultraviolet rays leads to aging deterioration, resulting in a decrease in strength due to the delamination of the plastic (corrosion-resistant layer) and glass fibers, which causes such accidents. Additionally, there are thousands of factories in the country where more than 10 years have passed since the installation of the tanks. In light of this situation, our company has started a diagnostic service for existing tanks, regardless of the manufacturer. FRP professionals will conduct measurements using tools and visual inspections on-site, quantify the measurement results, and compile the diagnosis and countermeasure details into a report for our customers. Based on the report results, we will assist with planning and implementing repairs and reinforcements.
