This is a fluorescently labeled FISH probe that stains the entire chromosome of the specified chromosome number. It allows for high-sensitivity visualization of individual chromosomes in cells during metaphase, enabling the identification of both chromosome number and structural chromosomal abnormalities. There are kits available that allow you to choose from four fluorescent colors and stain up to three different chromosome numbers simultaneously.
