2A Stepper Motor Driver with STEP/DIR Interface 'DRV8880'
The DRV8880 features two N-channel power MOSFET H-bridge drivers and a microstepping indexer. It can supply a maximum output current of 2.0A (full scale) or up to 1.4A rms (at 24V and TA = 25°C, with a proper PCB ground plane required for heat dissipation). AutoTune provides automatic adjustment for stepper motors to achieve optimal current control performance, along with compensation for motor variations and aging effects. Additionally, low-speed/high-speed/mixed decay modes are also available. The STEP/DIR pins can be used as a simple control interface and can be configured for modes ranging from full step to 1/16 step. A low-power sleep mode is available, allowing transition to a very low standby current mode using a dedicated nSLEEP pin. It includes built-in protection features against low voltage, charge pump failure, overcurrent, short circuit, and overheating. Fault conditions are indicated by the nFAULT pin. *For more details, please contact us.*
