The Suppon MD Joint is characterized by its ability to be installed without removing the outer coating of the inner and outer surface coated steel pipes (VD pipes and PD pipes). It allows for connection without disassembly, and can be installed using just a torque wrench, making it extremely user-friendly. It accommodates inner and outer surface coated steel pipes with diameters ranging from φ40mm to 150mm. It is also possible to slide along the pipe, making it easy to connect existing pipes with newly installed ones. This can be utilized for repairs or renovations of aging piping, particularly at the junctions with existing installations. There is no need for traditional flange welding or screwing operations, eliminating the need for conventional flange connection work. Flangeless connections reduce the risk of water leakage from the joint and are expected to enhance seismic resistance. Additionally, we offer a variety of options for connecting different types of pipes, allowing for a change in pipe type with just one joint. If disassembly is required, it can be easily removed by loosening the installed bolts and nuts, making it useful as a fixture for water pressure and air piping tests.
