The involute rack mechanism achieves a backlash-free engagement mechanism that is difficult to realize by combining a pin rack and a trochoidal gear. The design and manufacturing support software for the pin rack and trochoidal gear performs high-precision coordinate calculations for the trochoidal gear through modifications of the rack tooth profile and an automatic tooth profile error calculation program based on simple input data. You can check the engagement of the created pin rack and trochoidal gear in a video on the design screen, or visually design the contact state by partially enlarging the engagement section. Additionally, the pressure angle and radius of curvature at the engagement points can be displayed in real-time.
