The Minco CT398 temperature controller uses the heater line (which employs high TCR materials) as a temperature sensor, allowing for regular temperature monitoring. This enables the measurement of the heater surface temperature without the need for an additional temperature sensor. The output power is adjusted by comparing the set temperature with the actual measured temperature, thereby controlling the temperature. The settings have been made easier through USB connection and a Windows application (with internal settings rewritten via LED communication). - Sensorless heater control: Only heater line and power line connections are required. TCR* - The rate of change in resistance value when the temperature changes by 1°C.
