Glow-in-the-dark materials absorb everyday light (such as sunlight and fluorescent light) and naturally emit light in the dark. ● Glow-in-the-dark materials differ from traditional phosphorescent materials in that they absorb and store fluorescent light and sunlight, emitting light in the darkness. ● This glow-in-the-dark function continues to emit light at a brightness visible for over 10 hours with just about 20 minutes of exposure to fluorescent light or sunlight. (Approximately 20 times the afterglow time of JIS standard values) * Visible up to about 3 mcd/m² (millicandela) (according to our standards) ● The brightness of the emitted light (in candela) has been significantly improved to about 600 mcd/m², which is very bright, approximately 5 minutes after the light source is stopped. (Approximately 15 times the brightness of JIS standard values) ● Since this glow-in-the-dark material is inorganic, it does not degrade due to photodecomposition, allowing it to continue glowing repeatedly.
