The JTD cartridge heater embeds nichrome wire close to the inner wall of the sheath and increases the density of the magnesium inside the heater by reducing its diameter (swaging) with a swaging machine, allowing it to withstand high-temperature use due to the high density inside the heater. The structure may vary depending on the outer diameter, length, and watt density of the heater.
