A testing machine that enhances the versatility of a surface testing machine by analyzing and mechanizing the hand movements of "stroking" when assessing the texture of the fabric, and converting it into objective numerical data.
Data on the coefficient of friction and its variations can be obtained. From these characteristic values, the "smoothness," "slipperiness," and "roughness" experienced when touched by hand will be evaluated and quantified using objective data.
