The BL100 consists of a Bluetooth-compatible wireless transmitter connected to an eardrum temperature sensor and a sweat sensor. The eardrum temperature sensor is designed to measure deep body temperature, while the sweat sensor records sweating events. Its compact and lightweight design allows for use in tight spaces and wearable measurements! The eardrum temperature sensor uses a non-contact infrared sensor, so it does not harm the eardrum. The sensors can operate with either the eardrum temperature or the sweat sensor alone. When using only the eardrum temperature sensor, the internal temperature sensor of the BL100 activates and can simultaneously record the surrounding environmental temperature. (It is not possible to connect two eardrum temperature sensors). The sweat sensor uses silica gel to measure changes in airflow due to moisture absorption. (It may not be suitable for experiments involving large amounts of sweating). The BL100 has internal memory, allowing data to be stored simultaneously while being wirelessly transmitted. (The data capacity is up to 8,000 data points). The power source is a lithium rechargeable battery, which can be reused.
