We perform cryopreservation of mouse sperm and embryos. 【Features】 ■ Sperm Cryopreservation We use CARD FERTIUP® mouse sperm cryopreservation solution for sperm cryopreservation. Sperm preserved using this method has a higher survival rate after thawing compared to conventional methods, allowing for efficient storage. In the case of C57BL/6 mice, sperm cryopreserved using the CARD FERTIUP® method can achieve an in vitro fertilization rate of 80% or more when fertilized with unfertilized eggs using CARD MEDIUM® high-performance in vitro fertilization medium. ■ Embryo Cryopreservation We accommodate various developmental stages of embryos, including unfertilized eggs, pronuclear stage embryos, and two-cell stage embryos. Typically, fertilized eggs obtained through in vitro fertilization are cultured to the two-cell stage before being cryopreserved using a simple vitrification method.
