A service platform for safer and more secure use of drones.
In December 2015, the revised Aviation Law was enacted, prohibiting drone flights in densely populated areas and around airports. In response, we launched the service "SORAPASS" on May 25, 2016, which allows users to easily check restricted airspace on a map. "SORAPASS" has expanded its collaboration with external services, such as "DIPS Connect," which enables easy reporting and comprehensive applications through a network of administrative scriveners, and "SORAPASS care," a comprehensive insurance service covering business and personal use in collaboration with Sompo Japan Nipponkoa, and has received positive feedback. This service is available for free (registration required) for basic usage, but by subscribing to additional paid features, users can access weather information and flight application form creation functionality (limited to a certain number of times).

■Features (1) Viewing Drone Flight Area Maps Compliant with the revised Aviation Law. Contains necessary information for safe flying, including areas where flight is generally prohibited around airports and densely populated areas, as well as danger zones based on the "JUIDA Safety Guidelines." (2) Centralized Management of Aircraft and Pilot Information Allows registration of owned aircraft information (model, manufacturer name, insurance status, etc.) and pilot information. Additionally, flight log data can be uploaded to manage flight history. (3) Report Creation Support Extracts necessary data for flight applications from registered aircraft and pilot information. Streamlines the process with a function for creating application documents. (4) Weather Information (Paid) Access to 10-day weather forecasts for various locations, "wind speed and direction information" necessary for drone flights, and information required for aerial photography and surveying, such as "sunrise and sunset information" and "cloud cover information." (5) 3D Maps (Paid) Viewing 3D information of drone no-fly zones (such as airport vicinity information) that are difficult to confirm on a flat surface, along with seamless navigation between normal maps.
