Industrial cameras from IDS working as "robot eyes" in environments with explosion hazards.
Here are some examples of the use of "industrial cameras." In harsh environments exposed to wind and rain, extreme heat or cold, and the dangers of fire or explosion, unmanned robotic systems are used for regular or temporary safety checks in areas where humans are reluctant to enter. The products of ExRobotics B.V., based in Halsteren, Netherlands, serve as substitutes for human vision, hearing, smell, touch, and dexterity. The company performs image processing using industrial cameras from IDS Imaging Development Systems GmbH.
