Focusing solely on short-term profits through Strategic Business Units (SBUs) carries the risk that technology will eventually stagnate and growth will cease. If the company's core capabilities (core competencies) are the roots, then products are the trunk, and the branches and leaves. It is important to prioritize the solid development of the roots while formulating SBU strategies.

  Dynamics of the Rotational Axis Centrifugal force causes radial vibrations in a rotating body, while rotational friction induces circumferential, or torsional, vibrations. The patent I obtained clearly demonstrates, both theoretically and through experimental results, that it is effective in suppressing torsional vibrations. Additionally, like a balancer, it also dampens vibrations caused by centrifugal force. It can be made cheaply and easily with a simple structure that does not require sensors or control devices. It simply utilizes the inertial force that opposes the force trying to move it.

  Patent acquisition Generally, conventional patents for mechanical vibration control mostly aim to avoid autonomous vibration frequencies (natural frequencies) that resonate in the frequency domain. By tracing the principles of motion back to Newtonian mechanics and elucidating the principles, we obtained a patent with a unique structure. Although we were pointed out by the patent office for more than 10 prior patents due to similarities in structure, we presented the differences in the principles of action and structure, as well as experimental results, and it took over a year to reach the patent.
