We would like to introduce a new design and manufacturing case of a conveyor by Mentech. In this case, we addressed three main requests. First, the existing conveyor had issues where the jig tilted during work loading and transportation, frequently causing the conveyor to stop due to workpiece drops and resulting in scratches on the workpieces. Therefore, improvements were necessary. Additionally, we received a request to create a sloped transport surface from the loading area to the extraction area, and from a safety perspective, to install sensors that detect when a person's hand enters the transport surface, leading to an immediate stop. In response, we re-evaluated the workpiece receiving jig from scratch and began considering the use of resin materials to prevent scratches. We designed it to ensure that the workpieces are always held and transported parallel to the floor in accordance with the slope.
