The "IC-MS5010" is a base unit of a multi-user simultaneous communication wireless system manufactured by Icom. No license application or registration is required for use. It automatically searches for available channels for communication, allowing for smooth conversations with minimal interference. Its robust body can be safely mounted on heavy machinery that experiences significant vibrations. When combined with the separately sold handheld unit IC-5010, efficient communication can be achieved between the office and operators during the operation of heavy machinery such as cranes or large machines in manufacturing plants. Simultaneous communication is possible for up to two people, while a third person can listen in on the conversation. It has an IP54 dust and water resistance rating, making it safe to use even in the rain during work or in dusty construction sites. It is also capable of operating in sub-zero temperatures, making it suitable for use inside large refrigerated warehouses. A wide range of dedicated accessories is also available.
