An etched (corroded) nameplate is a nameplate created by chemically etching (corroding) the surface of metal to create unevenness, filling the recessed areas with melamine resin paint, and after processing such as clear coating, finishing with cutting or die-cutting. An anodized nameplate is made by using the sulfuric anodizing method on aluminum sheets to form a porous anodized coating, allowing dye to be absorbed (since the dye carries a negative charge, it is attracted to the pores of the coating that have a positive charge), and finally, a sealing treatment is applied to produce the nameplate.
