The Xilinx PYNQ framework (pronounced "pink") is a highly popular open-source platform that allows software engineers to develop applications for Xilinx SoC and MPSoC devices with reduced reliance on hardware engineering support. The popularity and ease of use of Python, the open-source high-level programming language at the core of PYNQ, have significantly simplified the development of Zynq SoC and MPSoC-based applications for both hardware and software engineers.
