We will introduce a case study of sealed solid-liquid mixing tests using a drum mixer.
We conducted a "dry powder test" at our factory in Hiroshima to dissolve approximately 100 kg of calcium chloride plus α in 60 kg of water. The drum mixer (DMH200) was rotated vertically without any inclination. After adding 60 kg of water, we introduced just over 100 kg of granular calcium chloride. After 30 minutes, we scooped from the bottom with a ladle and found that it had dissolved well. We then added another type of powder and rotated for another 30 minutes, after which it was removed with no residue left and was discharged cleanly. The analysis showed no issues.
