SEP processing can remove general fine burrs of 0.05 or less and burrs at hole intersections in machined products. In addition, for heat-treated parts, it can improve surface roughness in polished products after carburizing and high-frequency hardening, as well as remove hardening scale from tooth surfaces (such as splines) and enhance tooth surface roughness.
