It can be used with JVC Kenwood's digital simple radio, specific low-power transceivers, and general business radios. It features an omnidirectional electret condenser microphone that easily picks up surrounding sounds. It adopts a stretchable coiled cord that is resistant to tangling and less prone to disconnection. It comes with a metal clip on the back of the microphone that can rotate 360 degrees.
