This is ultra-precision cutting of resin using Sumika Super S1000 (formerly known as Econol). It is a resin with excellent heat resistance, capable of withstanding temperatures up to 400°C without melting or deforming, and a typical usage temperature of 260°C. The cutting resistance is low, and there is minimal melting due to heat, resulting in excellent dimensional stability. Additionally, it generates very little burr, making it suitable for fine processing. The production results shown in the image are parts supplied to a semiconductor manufacturer. The slit section has a dimensional tolerance of 0.7mm with a precision of 1/100mm, and a special metal saw was used by our technicians to achieve the actual processing. We also accept the production of precision medical components using Sumika Super S1000. Furthermore, we can handle cutting processing of super engineering plastics.
