Crystalline stilbene is an organic scintillator used for radiation detection, suitable for distinguishing between fast neutrons and gamma-ray background.
■High-energy neutrons are caused by kinetic energy exceeding approximately 1 MeV. ■High-energy neutron counting and spectroscopy, imaging have applications in medicine, industry, research, defense, and homeland security. ■Inrad uses its proprietary low-temperature growth technology to manufacture stilbene, making it suitable for producing high-quality, high-efficiency, and low-stress materials. ■Inrad conducts a consistent process from crystal growth to product processing.
